Hojyn a écrit : sam. nov.

Version 1.1 - 23rd June 2025

  • Pg. 13: Halflings now start with 3 Fate points.
  • Pg 14-15: The character sheet diagram has been updated so that numbers correspond to the right sections, and missing information has been added.
  • Pg. 23: High Elf example names are now correct.
  • Pg. 66: Elf maximum Characteristic ratings in Strength, Toughness, Initiative, and Agility have all been increased.
  • Pg. 149: The description for the miracles of Shallya now correctly refers to Morr as her father.
  • Pg 182: A quote attributed to Cox Flummery has been updated to correctly cite Wyldaroc Fleetrider
  • Surnames have been added to various quotes throughout the book..
  • Page references have been added to the Formalise Spell and Memorise Spell Endeavours.
  • Various formatting errors throughout have been fixed.
Version 1.2

Following changes have been made since the last changelog update:

  • A higher quality map of the Empire Divided has been uploaded.
  • Career Talents for the Arcane Wizard and Hedge Wizard have changed to provide a clearer benefit for characters Touched by the Winds who Change Career to better master their powers.
  • Courtiers, Engineers, and Priests have gained the Literacy Lore, meaning they can always use their writing kits.
  • Using thief tools to pick locks and disable traps now requires the Criminal Underworld Lore (your GM might still allow you to use Environmental Lores to disable certain environment-specific traps).
  • In combat, you can no longer sacrifice your free move to remove the Prone condition if there is an enemy in Close Range. You can stand still stand by using the Recovery action though. Updates have been made throughout to address this.
  • The descriptions of some Contacts have been altered to better match their full description in the Gamemaster’s Guide.
  • A few images and assets have been replaced: the Wood Elf Origin character on page 21; the Horse profile on page 124; the diagram accompanying the example combat on page 114.
  • The Improvised Spell Example Tables now reiterate that characters Touched by the Winds can attempt Petty Magic.
  • Index added.
  • Page 3: Contents page has been updated, with the broken hyperlinks fixed, missing headers added, and other errors corrected.
  • Page 11: Using This Book updated to more accurately reflect the book’s contents and introduces the core setting of Talagaad to new readers.
  • Pages 14-15: Annotated character sheet updated to reflect new version of the character sheet.
  • Page 23: High Elves no longer start with more Skills at 3 than other Origins.
  • Page 24: Clarification added that there is no benefit for duplicating Lores between your Origin and Career.
  • Page 50: Slayer’s Living Doom Talent clarifies how attack successes are calculated, providing a good reason to keep your greataxe handy.
  • Page 54: The Waywatcher’s starting Lore has been corrected.
  • Page 72: Effect of Accelerated Recovery changed to actually accelerate your recovery, by removing a Wound faster once per adventure.
  • Page 78: Longbeard Talent now clarifies the effect of conforming to or defying expectations.
  • Page 88: Explanation of the normal effect when you apply poisons to a weapon using the Concoction Lore.
  • Page 116: Hazards added for excessive alcohol consumption and an example disease.
  • Page 132: Per the Gamemaster’s Guide, the Aid Contact Endeavour can now also be used to gain a new Contact, if you’ve endeared yourself to a sufficiently influential NPC.
  • Page 135: Rekindle Fate explicitly confirms it cannot be used if you’ve burned your last Fate point.
  • Page 137: Clarification of what Favoured Lores mean for a god’s devotees.
  • Page 157: Miscasting now causes you to lose all successes you’ve generated on Casting Tests — you can use your banked successes to cast immediately before rolling on the Miscast Table, but doing so makes your Miscast more dangerous.
  • Page 159: Miscast results have been renumbered to avoid duplication.
  • Various spelling, grammar, versioning, and formatting errors throughout have been fixed.
The Old World RPG – Version 1.3 (9th October 2025)

Change Log

Page 50:

Living Doom now inflicts an automatic Wound if your attack Test succeeds with 2 more successes than your target (previously required 3).

Page 57:

Eascylla Sereth’s description has been updated to better align with her full entry in the Gamemaster’s Guide.

Page 76:

Hold the Line updated to match the new version of the Recover action (see Page 118).

Page 91:

Clarification added: Characters are expected to carry trappings appropriate to their Career and Status.

You do not attract negative attention for possessing higher-Status trappings granted by your Career.

Page 118:

Recover Action revised — treating a Wound or testing to remove a condition now consumes the entire action.

You can no longer remove Stagger, Prone, a Miscast die, and recover your weapon all in the same action.

Page 125:

On the Vehicle Faults table, catching “Lost Luggage” now requires a Dexterity Test, not a Throwing Test.

General Updates:

Fixed an error that removed the 30 Careers from the bookmark list.

Corrected various spelling, grammar, versioning, and formatting issues throughout.

Thank you all for your continued support of The Old World Roleplaying Game

!
Your feedback and enthusiasm help make every update better.

Stay tuned - a brand-new adventurestarter set and GM screen are coming soon!

Ah ? Bizarre, j'ai acheté les miens sur Drivethrurpg pourtant, et j'ai bien reçu des mails pour les 3 mises à jour avec en introduction :

"A message from Cubicle 7 Entertainment Ltd. via DriveThruRPG.com. (stop receiving Cubicle 7 Entertainment Ltd. messages.) Why did I get this email?"

Il y a aussi une page pour gérer les éditeurs qui ont le droit de t'envoyer des messages :
